Thanks for putting this up there.
It helped me understand what was being said about my son.
I would love to see more child-related vocabulary that you don't find in beginners' textbooks or guides to grammar.

How to say when something or somebody is cute in Slovak?
Ahojte! Uvedomujem si, že prešla už dlhá doba od chvíle, keď som tu niečo napísala, ale teraz si konečne môžete vychutnať môj druhý príspevok!

The word cute is for kittens, puppies, wobbling toddlers, girls, boys, ... For me, the most natural way how to translate the English word "cute" into Slovak is "zlatý" (zlatý, zlatá, zlaté, zlatí). But pay attention because another meaning, the basic meaning of the word "zlatý" is gold- the colour of gold or anything containing gold. The Slovak word "zlatý" can be used for both, physical or personality character trait, but remember, "zlatý" doesn't mean sexually attractive in Slovak.
Ty si taká zlatá!Tomáš je taký zlatý!Moja teta má zlatého syna.Ďakujem za pomoc, si veľmi zlatá/milá.Si zlatý, že si mi pomohol.Tí dvaja spolu vyzerajú takí zlatí.Ty máš to najroztomilejšie dieťa aké som kedy videla.
When you see a cute baby you can also use instead of "zlatý" synonyms: "roztomilý/rozkošný/chutný/pekný. For example: To dieťa je roztomilé/rozkošné (with "é" at the end because the word baby is neuter gender in Slovak.) These 4 adjectives are used for physical traits.
Using of diminutive form of "zlatý" - zlatučký/zlatulinký/zlatunký - is also frequented. Diminutive forms of "chutný" and "pekný" are "chutnučký", "peknučký".
Ahoj, zlato, čo robíš dnes večer?Zlatko, dnes vyzeráš úžasne!
Janko bol ku mne stále veľmi milý/láskavý, ak mohol, stále mi pomáhal.Ďakujem, že si mi postrážil deti, je to od teba veľmi milé!
